Hint mitolojisine göre, Dünya, Tanrı’nın tiyatro sahnesidir. Hint mitolojisinde Tanrı, tahttına kurulmuş, beyaz sakkalları ve ayrıcalıklara sahip bir şey değildir. Tanrı, Hint mitolojisine gore, kişinin “kendisi”dir. “Satchitananda”, “sat”; kişi, “chit”; bilinç, ve “ananda” ise mutluluk demektir. Başka bir deyişle, “varoluş”tur… Görkemli olan gerçekliğin kendisidir.
Bu, tamamıyla haz ve mutlulukla dolu bir anlayıştır. Eğer gökyüzüne bakarsanız, bütün bu yıldızların aslında Temmuz’un 4’ünde büyük kutlamalarda atılan havai fişekler gibi olduğunu görürsünüz. Evren bir kutlamadır, ve bütün bu havai fişekler de varoluşun kutlanması şerefine. Müthiş!
Daha önce hiç fark etmediniz mi, etrafınızda aynı insanlar, her zamanki kıyafetler ve kişiler varken, aslında ihtişamlı bir dünyanın tam ortasında olduğumuzu? Sonsuzluk ve ebediyet, işte tam da bu. Göz kamaştırıcı bir dünya…
Tanrı budur. Fakat Konfuçyüs der ki; “Sabah Tao’yu anlayan bir kişi, akşam huzur içinde ölebilir.” Bu şu demektir: eğer en az bir kere eksiksiz bir an yaşamışsanız, ölmek için hazırsınız. Şunu diyebilirsiniz; “ İşte bu! Şimdiye kadar hiç böyle bir şey yaşamamıştım.”
En derininizde, içinizde var olan şey, Aslında varoluşun temel taşıdır. Herkes “ben”dir, hepiniz “sen”. Yani, ne olduğu fark etmeksizin, bütün galaksilerde ne var ne yoksa, hepsi sensin. Sonra birden “Aman Tanrım! Tüm bu telaş ne içindi?” dersin.

Wowee! And all those stars, if you look out in the sky, is a firework
Display like you see on the 4th of July, which is a great occasion for celebration;
The universe is a celebration, it is a fireworks show to celebrate that existence is.
Wowee. Don’t you realize that sitting around here in this room,
With our ordinary everyday faces and clothes and personalities, We are sitting smack in the middle of the Beatific vision, And that this is infinity and eternity precisely.
It is it. And this is the Beatific vision.
This is God.
But Confucius once said: “A man who understands the Tao in the morning, can die contentedly in the evening.”
That is to say if you have ever lived one complete moment,
You can be ready to die.
You can say “Well, that was it! That was the good, that – I’ve had it.”
What you are basically, deep deep down, far far in, Is simply the fabric and structure of the existence itself.
Everybody is I, you all know you are you.
And whatsoever beings exists throughout all galaxies, it doesn’t make any difference, you are all of them.
And you suddenly say “Good heavens!
What was making all that fuss about?
Cause here we are!
This is what we’ve been looking for all the time.
It is right here.
And uh, that’s- that’s the thing.
